Livestream Production & Interactive Online Participation

Hybrid Events
Don’t just
watch. Join the conversation.

Your stage is at the venue. Some of your guests are elsewhere. We bring them together through professional live production and DL.LIVE as an integrated platform for online participation.

From the initial concept through to live delivery, we plan and manage the technical side of your hybrid event. Our goal is to put your online audience at the heart of the action—with interactions directly in the video and contributions that make an impact on stage.

On-Site and Online

Does everyone really need to travel to be there?

The stage is set, the presentations are ready, and the topics matter. But some guests work at other locations, face a long journey or cannot set aside an entire day. For them, the only alternative is often to miss the event altogether.

A hybrid event connects the audience at the venue with those joining online. Some are seated in the room, while others take part from the office or from home. They follow the programme and have opportunities to contribute.

You retain the value of meeting in person while opening the event to people who would otherwise miss out—even beyond the venue’s seating capacity. The real value of that access depends on the role your online guests are given in the event. This is where we take hybrid events a step further: viewers become participants.

The only thing we can’t stream is lunch.

Joining the discussion, asking follow-up questions or voting doesn’t require a seat in the room. Our aim is simple: your location shouldn’t determine how much you can contribute. When it comes to the buffet, however, the guests at the venue still have a clear advantage. Everyone else will have to raid their own fridge.

The question is in the room—and right there in the video.

The moderator asks which perspective the panel should explore next. A poll appears directly in the video seen by the online audience. The answers are right in front of them: choose, vote and keep watching. No additional link and no switching to another tool.

This invitation to participate reaches people where their attention already is. The step from having an opinion to casting a vote is short. Guests in the room can take part in the same poll.

The result now appears on the venue screen: “Practical Experience” is in the lead. The moderator picks it up: “Then let’s get specific. What works in your day-to-day experience?” The audience response helps guide the conversation.

An interaction in the video becomes part of the event itself. We coordinate the technical implementation with your moderation team, ensuring that polls appear at the intended moment and that the results are displayed correctly on stage.

Plans change. Everyone stays on track.

The keynote runs ten minutes over, the panel discussion starts later and a guest joins remotely. Online, the programme and supporting information need to reflect what is actually happening.

DL.LIVE connects each programme item with speaker profiles and related materials such as PowerPoint presentations or PDFs. We manage this digital layer alongside the live production. Anyone looking for the slides from the current session or more information about a speaker can find it within the same event environment.

That connection begins during technical preparation. We coordinate the schedule, remote contributions and planned interactions with you, set up the event page and manage the agreed interactive elements during the production. Video, sound, graphics and the digital interface all work together as parts of the same event.

Your content remains accessible.

With Event-Series, recurring events, recordings and supporting materials stay organised in one place. Searchable transcripts help users find specific statements, while timestamps take them directly to the relevant moment in the video.

For general meetings and employee assemblies, we can also incorporate the required voting, documentation and long-term use of the content into the technical setup. Learn more about our full-service production for hybrid meetings.

A hybrid event combines an in-person event with real-time participation over the internet. Guests at the venue and online follow the same programme. Unlike a conventional livestream, a hybrid event also enables online attendees to take an active part—for example through questions, polls or remote contributions to the discussion.

DL.EVENT takes this concept further: polls appear directly within the video, and the results can be displayed on the screen at the venue. This makes participation possible without switching pages or opening another app. Professional live production and online participation are delivered as one integrated technical solution—adapted to your programme.

You have maximum creative freedom when it comes to the programme, content and moderation. You bring your schedule and ideas; we support you with our experience and show you how the desired participation features can be integrated effectively from a technical perspective.

Together, we determine when polls, questions or remote contributions should appear and what the moderator needs to manage them. We then set up all the agreed features and operate them throughout the production. The editorial decisions remain yours—with the technical support needed to bring them to life.

To get started, we need the date, venue, expected number of in-person and online participants, and a rough programme schedule. When setting up the event, we will also need the relevant content, such as programme items, speaker information, materials and polling questions. We will clarify all technical requirements with you.

Yes. We coordinate with your moderator, the venue and any technical partners involved. Together, we clarify transitions, assess the existing equipment and identify any additional technology required for your production.

No—you can, but you don’t have to. If you prefer, we can create editor accounts for you or your communications team, allowing you to manage the programme, schedule, information and materials independently.

Alternatively, we can take care of this for you. We remain responsible for the technical setup, the agreed live features and support during the production. We define who manages which content together with you in advance.

Our event livestreaming packages also apply to hybrid events. You can find the prices and included services on our livestream production page, where you can compare the packages and choose a suitable setup. If your event requires additional equipment or services, we will discuss these with you and include them in your individual quote.
